2016/11/19【Student workshop】:Andante in a Fast-Paced Life, an MBSR Workshop

Do you often feel rushed and flustered, thinking about things at hand while pondering about the future? After a long day, your body must be screaming in pain. Do you often wish to take a break and look at the world around you, but never get a chance to?

 

At this moment, maybe you are trying to change this rushed life, or re-establish inner peace. In fact, you will discover that even the most common breathing exercises can help reducing your anxieties, sometimes as simple as breathing in slowly, re-orienting your focus on yourself, and slowing down your pace.

 

This time, we’ve invited Yen-Hui Lee as our special guest, who is certified in three different countries and has ample experience in mindfulness workshops. She will teach you how to discover your inner voice using MBSR, experience a state of relaxed concentration, and reduce your stress, so that you can help yourself and others.

Through activities such as meditation and yoga, which are devoid of religiosity, MBSR helps one make peace with emotions and alleviate tension and anxiety

 

Spots are limited, so let’s begin experiencing a different tempo in life!

 

Time: 2016/11/19 (Sat) 9:30 A.M.- 4:30 P.M.

Location: Group Counseling Room, Resource Classroom, Activity Center, 2F

Leader: Yen-Hui Lee (Certified mindfulness instructor in the U.S.A, England, and Germany; director of Nanhua Mindfuless Centre)

Participants: NCTU students who wish to relieve stress, take care of emotions, and experience inner peace (limit of 12 students)

To sign-up: Please download the registration form from the Center’s website and sign-up at the Center before 11/09 (Wed), and pay a deposit of 200$ which will be fully reimbursed after full participation. Those on the waiting list will be contacted by 11/10 (Thu)
