【Campus Guidance Lecture】Combatting Insomnia, Anxiety, and Depression with Drugs? A Lecture on Medication and Mental Health by a Psychiatrist

When anxiety and depression strike, you wonder if you can recover with medication?

Are you in a dilemma of craving mental health but afraid of being controlled by medication?

In a time and age where mental health is emphasized, how to deal with mental problems is important as well. However, laypeople have vague ideas and uncertainties toward medical treatment and therapy of mental health. In fact, most don’t even know what role and function medication plays in mental health…

A psychiatrist will be invited to the present lecture to teach everyone about common medication used for treating insomnia, anxiety, and depression, including their therapeutic effects and side-effects. Then, the speaker will debunk any myths regarding medication, so that you can learn how to take them appropriately to improve mental health. Finally, the speaker will share self-care methods not involving medication, so that you can eliminate uneasiness with ease, and start leading a happy life!
